"Never doubt that a small group of thoughtful, committed citizens can change the world.

Indeed, it is the only thing that ever has".

-Margaret Mead

Mission Statement

The Mission of UCN is to provide to women in underdeveloped countries information and services necessary to prevent unwanted pregnancies.

The facts are:

There are 300 million women in the world that would like to have access to Family Planning. The only way to fight poverty, hunger, global warming, wars, terrorist acts, human trafficking, child labor, and sexually transmitted disease is by enabling women to control the size of their families.

A woman dies every minute due to complications from pregnancy and child birth. Women and girls are targets of atrocities such as infanticide, sex trafficking, rape and domestic violence.

Call to action: Global climate change and population control are interconnected. Together we can build a global community that will participate in projects that result in a positive social impact for women, young girls, education, and the environment.

There are more enslaved people now than there were during the 1800s. About 27 million people live in slavery. Every year, about 800,000 people are trafficked internationally and approximately 80% of them are women and children.
